Kimberley Sustad
Kimberley Sustad is a captivating performer known for her natural charm, versatility, and commanding screen presence. From gripping dramas to heartwarming holiday films, she has built a career that blends depth, humor, and authenticity.
Raised on the sweeping prairies of Canada, Kimberley’s childhood was brimming with a love for storytelling. She first stepped onto the stage at 18, landing the titular role in Hedda Gabler, an experience that ignited her passion for acting and set her on the path to a thriving career. Kimberley honed her craft in Seattle, performing with renowned regional companies like Seattle Repertory Theatre and Arts Club Theatre (ACT). Her work in theatre soon led to opportunities on screen, where she quickly became a familiar face in television. She has appeared in fan-favorite series such as ABC’s Motive, The CW’s Supernatural, Fox’s Alcatraz and Hallmark’s Chesapeake Shores.
Her talent for bringing layered, relatable, characters to life has earned her roles in critically acclaimed projects, including Netflix’s Travelers (as Joanne Yates) and the CBC miniseries Unspeakable, based on the tainted blood scandal that shook Canada in the 1980s. She also guest-starred in Jordan Peele’s The Twilight Zone for CBS. A Hallmark favorite, Kimberley has starred in numerous beloved films, including The Nine Lives of Christmas, A Godwink Christmas, Christmas by Starlight, Lights, Camera, Christmas! The Real West and The Santa Class, with memorable guest appearances in the Three Wise Men movies as Dr. Sharon McLaren.
In addition to acting, Kimberley stepped into the world of screenwriting in 2020, cowriting Christmas by Starlight for Hallmark. She later co-wrote the wildly successful Three Wise Men and a Baby and its highly anticipated sequel, Three Wiser Men and a Boy, cementing her place as both a storyteller and creator.
